I come across a lot of videos that really inspire me and give me confidence that we can positively change our urban environments and economies. I thought it would be good to collate them in one place – so here they are. I will add to this post over time. Please let me know if there are others that have inspired you and I may include them here.
1) Shared Space approaches can cope with busy junctions
This video shows how a really busy junction, a village centre, can both become more environmentally friendly, safer and more economically productive whilst maintaining traffic flows. A real wow video! This junction has at peak 26,000 vehicles per hour.
