Digital Shoreditch – An Interesting Festival

If you are a techie/a social media junkie or someone like me who is interested in the link between digital, innovation and place there is a really interesting week coming up in Shoreditch – titled Digital Shoreditch.

A week focussing on

  1. Tech City
  2. Tomorrow’s World – what’s coming up round the corner
  3. Future Brands – Challenges and Opportunities in marketing
  4. Behavourial Design
  5. The ever present Hackathon

and very interestingly for budding entrepreneurs an open house where firms open their doors so that other creatives and the local community can see what they are doing and perhaps create serendipitous meetings.

There is also an exhibition and other activities – so one could make it a whole 7 days of immersion in the future.

This full lines up with the recently launched London LEP strategy that stress the importance of Digital in the future of London.
