Amsterdam academic Sebastian Olma  is over in Birmingham next month to speak at the Birmingham Made Me festival (details here). Sebastian is an international scholar and expert working at the interface between creativity and business and  has a track record in connecting governments, companies and organizations to the innovative potential of social networks. He advises several regional German governments on crossover programs between the creative industries and traditional SME’s. For the University of Amsterdam he has built the Creative Industries Research Centre whose pioneering research methods have since become standard for the Dutch Research Council (NWO).

The Cross Innovate project (here) is also hosting a separate session with him  where he will talk about his book ‘The Serendipity Machine’  and the co working model call seat2meet.com.
