I want to look at the emerging role of cities in the new EU structural funds in a forthcoming blog post and wondered if there was feedback/ or anyone had information/sources on
1) Proposed Delegations down to Cities under the ITI initiative
2) Whether the 5% figure for Sustainable Urban Development is a minimum or is being used as a maximum
3) The role of Cities in Smart Specialisation processes – which are most commonly at regional but sometimes national level
4) The UK Government’s proposed experiment of delegation to LEPs is also an interesting area for discussion. Is it real control?
